Rachel Pugh serves as Business Operations Director and a member of the Young Companies Corporate Team, supporting the operations and administration of the three separate companies operating under the Young Companies umbrella.
Originally from Buffalo, New York, Rachel made the Finger Lakes her home while raising her three children and becoming deeply involved in the community. Her diverse background includes working in her family’s telecommunications business, serving as superintendent of a multi church Sunday School and Vacation Bible School program, leading a local chapter of Paul’s Place for families affected by Alzheimer’s disease and dementia, and working within the local school district.
Rachel earned degrees in Political Science and Business Administration from Alfred University, where she was a member of the varsity equestrian team and cheered for Saxon football and basketball. These experiences helped develop the leadership, teamwork, organization, and attention to detail she brings to her professional role today.
As Business Operations Director, Rachel works across the Young Companies organization to help coordinate daily business operations, strengthen internal communication, support company leadership and staff, and ensure established processes and standards are consistently maintained across all three companies. Her position provides an important connection between the individual businesses while helping each maintain its own distinct operations and responsibilities.
